When you arrive for your appointment you have to check in at a ZipKey Kiosk (eg. the ZipKey iPad). You can either enter all your data manually or scan your QR code for your appointment. If you don't have an appointment or invitation, you will have to check in manually. More information about the manual check-in can be found here: Manuelles Einchecken am Kiosk
To check in with your QR code please go to the ZipKey Kiosk. Tap the "I have a QR code" button. If the screen is not displayed in English, please click the flag in the bottom right corner to change the current language.
On the new screen you can see the preview of the iPad's rear camera. Please move your QR code from left above behind the iPad so you can see the QR code fully in the preview. The device will read the code automatically and start the check-in process.
Next, you have to finish the check-in on the Kiosk. If some information is missing, the Kiosk will request it from you. If you have done the online check-in, ZipKey will automatically skip all the information you already provided. Finish the check-in and you will see a welcome message on the screen. Based on your appointment you will also see some instructions or directions on where to go next. Please follow these instructions.
